Spray Deposition and Distribution on Rice as Affected by a Boom Sprayer with a Canopy-Opening Device

In China, rice growers predominantly use boom sprayers. However, sprayers have several drawbacks related to poor penetration in the middle and late stages of growth. Several studies shown that canopy-opening device can improve droplet deposition under layers rice. Some doubt efficacy sprayers, whereas others questions about their use. This study aimed address both doubts by evaluating effect spraying using a divider combination device. The tested variety was “Longliangyou 2010”.
